Natalia Kassle is a former Danger Girl who turned out to be working for their enemy, Hammer. She becomes a member of Danger Girl again in Danger Girl Renegade #4

Biography[]

In her early years, Natalia was a Russian intelligence agent. She was also a combat trainer and extremely skilled with the use of knives. It was those exceptional skills that got her recruited into Danger Girl.

Having rescued Abbey Chase from the waterfall in Costa Rica, Natalia was the first Danger Girl Abbey encountered. Right from the start, she was pretty mean to Abbey and made it quite clear that she didn't like her.

Natalia faked her own death while in England, making the Danger Girls think she was dead. But Natalia made her presence known while Abbey was trapped in the Sea Turtle deep under water, and she revealed that she was part of Hammer.

Later, during the battle on Hammer Island, Natalia fell out of a helicopter and to her death as she hit the explosions below. In the Mayday series it is revealed that she is alive and suffering from amnesia until the last issue.

Natalia was rescued by April Mayday adn her band of mercenaries. Mayday took Natalia to Buthan in South Asia, where she was healed physically, and mentally. April's plan was to use Natalia as an agent who could recover canisters filled with poison gas stolen by Anastasia Kilbourne. April told Natalia that Anastasia was going to use the poison gas against Russia, Natalia's homeland, she was using Natalia in order to get the canisters. Kilbourne was on a train with the gas, where she fought Abbey Chase, who rigged the gas with explosives in order to destroy them, and defeated her easily, and took the detonator for the explosives Abbey set, After that, she ran into Natalia, but Kassle did not recognize Anastasia. Kilbourne tried to convince Natalia they were on the same side, Natalia didn't feel that way and fought Asia, throwing her off the train. Mayday revealed to Natalia she was using her to get the gas, Natalia detonated the explosives, derailing the train. Mayday told Natalia that Abbey was inside the train, Natalia chose to go after Abbey instead of killing Mayday. Natalia saved Abbey from drowning, She went back to Hammer island and reactivated the Hammer's systems.

Natalia was present at Canary Islands where operation Danger Girl was being put back together by a collective of international goverments. Natalia is back with operation Danger Girl.

Behind the Scenes

While on the Danger Yacht after rescuing Abbey, Natalia is seen wearing a white bathing suit remarkably similar to the suit worn by Honey Ryder in the James Bond film Dr. No.
